Sean Ellis, the subject of Netflix’s acclaimed docuseries Trial 4, was wrongly convicted due to police corruption and prosecutorial misconduct and imprisoned for 22 years before winning his freedom. He was fully exonerated in 2021. Today, Ellis is Director of the Exoneree Network, a program of the New England Innocence Project that supports returning citizens as they heal and rebuild. Who better to narrate Copland’s stirring portrait of a champion of freedom and justice?

Most of our performances take place at Sanders Theatre (45 Quincy Street, Room 027, Cambridge, MA 02138). Sanders Theatre is managed by Memorial Hall/Lowell Hall Complex at Harvard University.

Parking for disabled patrons: Limited accessible parking is available at Broadway Garage. Contact University Disability Services for other locations.
