Jana Hieber
Project and Personnel Manager
Jana received her BA in Music and Anthropology from Tufts University. After graduating, she spent a year in Madrid teaching English to first and second grade students. She has since made Boston her home and has worked in Arts Administration for both the Boston Children's Chorus and New England Conservatory. She currently works at the Boston Symphony Orchestra as the Manager of Choral Activities, managing the Tanglewood Festival Chorus.
A classically trained singer herself, Jana has sung in many different choirs in Boston including; Voices 21C, Oriana Consort, and the Tanglewood Festival Chorus.
Her favorite things about music? It gives you a way to express yourself, a way to ignite memories, and a way to connect with people across barriers.
